Google Authentication.

We store only the information required to create and secure your account.

1.2 Uploaded Files and Transaction Data

Cointopus allows you to upload transaction files from AltCoinTrader.co.za.

We do not store the uploaded files themselves.
We extract only the necessary data (transactions, pricing information, and related fields) to generate your dashboards.
Once extracted, the original file is immediately discarded.

1.3 Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

Maintain your login session;
Improve platform functionality;
Secure your account.

We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your information solely to:

Provide dashboards and insights generated from your uploaded transaction data;
Maintain your account and keep you logged in;
Improve the performance, reliability, and security of the platform.

No data is shared, sold, or sent to third-party companies.

3. Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable and industry-standard measures to safeguard your information, including:

Encryption of sensitive data in transit and at rest;
Access controls to limit who can view your data internally;
Regular security reviews.

Only the processed transaction data (not the original files) is stored and used for your dashboard.

4. Data Deletion

You maintain full control over your information.

You may request complete deletion of your data at any time.
Upon deletion, all processed transaction data and account information is permanently removed from our systems.

We do not retain backups of deleted user data.

5. No Third-Party Sharing

Cointopus does not send or share your data with any third parties. We do not integrate with advertising networks, data brokers, analytics companies, or external APIs (except those explicitly required for service operation).

6. Children’s Privacy

Cointopus is not intended for use by individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect or store information from minors.
